Faith Formation

In response to a changing world and mindful of Roman Catholic tradition, the Church's unceasing mission is to proclaim the Gospel. For evangelism to bear abundant fruit, the baptized lay must actively support bishops, priests, deacons and religious in this effort.

According to CCC 906, "lay people who are capable and trained may collaborate in catechetical formation, in teaching the sacred sciences, and in use of the communications media." The Knights of Columbus forms men for Catholic action. Called to holiness we courageously proclaim the Good News. K of C programs help members practice their faith in the fields of charity, devotion and education with each member becoming a constant and worthy example of an ideal Catholic for his family, his community and his Brother Knights.

St. Michael Prayer

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defence against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.
